Mumbai or Bombay

Mumbai,the financial capital of India is the city which anyone in India would dream to live in.India is considered to be multilingual,multiethnic & multi cultured country and Mumbai is the best example to experience it.People from everywhere in the country come to this city just for a hope that they will get bread and butter if they work hard.This HOPE makes this city unique from any other city in India.Bollywood,HQ of Multi-National companies,never-ending multi storey buildings worth in crores and mesmerising night life are some characteristic of this city.

Bombay is the city of dabbawalas,city of slums,city of local trains which carry 1 million passengers daily,city of struggling actors and the most important a historical place.Bombay is unique blend of lower middle class,middle class and upper middle class.Bombay is famous for it's Vada-Pav,people living in chawls and not to mention: Underworld.Bombay celebrates every festival as if it was originated from it be it Holi,Ganapati,Janamashtmi,GuruNank Jayanti,Bakar-Id,Diwali or Christmas.Most of the people still recognize Mumbai by Bombay not in India but in other parts of the world also.

Being a Mumbite I would say Bombay lives in the three tracks of Mumbai i.e Harbour,Central and Western.

My First Blog

Finally I have a blog..Yes it is very easy to click some buttons in a website and you get a warm welcome message "Congratulations !You have created a blog".But there are only few dedicated bloggers who keep blogging and share information with other people .I am here to share my ideas and views and hope will get some response too.

Though this is my first post I am optimist in considering that there is not a topic left which can be discussed or my opinion is somewhat unique from others.So I thought the best name for myblog should be "wordsoraction".People blog to share their ideas or experiences with others,but how many such ideas and expriences actually create some action in this world. I think the whole idea behind blogging is to express yourself and to share information which inturn is useful for others.I hope to create some action with my blogging if not in this world then in minds of the people.
